the chicken came first. (or young hens) and now we are eagerly awaiting the eggs.
And to play it safe Astor also got a small group of Muscovy ducklings..great egg producers if you give extra protein...(pasta or macaroni). Bonus also being them feasting on the slimy slugs, littering our garden nowadays in the summer time. Kind of wondering if the eggs will taste a bit sluggish??
